Cogs and Yearnings

Inspired by Wall-E and Nier Automata. 

Humans have left a destroyed Earth. Their presence can only be found in the remains of their creations. As the planet heals, a race of Machines work tirelessly to fulfil a Universal Purpose ‘Create a World for Humans to Live On’. These Machines all have unique designs and functions whether they be construction, combat, or even entertainment. After millennia, without Human oversight, Machines have begun to develop their own Desires outside of their Directives. These irregularities have caused Machines to behave outside of the Universal Purpose. You are one of these irregular Machines, one with a Directive, and a Desire. Which you choose to fulfil, is up to you.
